Video
Video creates short clips with sound from a description, or brings an image to life, including images you made in Images.
Make a video from text
- Open Video in the sidebar.
- Choose Text to video.
- In Describe the video, type what should happen, or pick an example.
- Under Model, choose Scene, Feature or Director's Cut.
- Set Length, Resolution, Aspect ratio and optionally Seed.
- Choose Create video.
Videos usually take under a minute, sometimes a few. You can leave the page and come back.
Bring an image to life
- Choose Image to video.
- Under Start frame, choose Add image. Or choose Animate on any image in Images.
- With Scene or Feature, you can also add an End frame (optional).
- In Describe the motion, say how things move, for example "She turns and smiles at the camera; hair moves in the breeze; slow push-in".
- Choose a model, length and resolution.
- Choose Create video.
The video keeps the image's shape, so there's no aspect ratio choice.

Credits
Credits depend on the model and the length. Resolution doesn't change the price. The button for each model shows the price of its shortest clip, and the total shows next to Create video.
| Model | Credits |
|---|---|
| Scene | 320 for 5 s, 630 for 10 s, 940 for 15 s |
| Feature | 630 for 5 s, 1,250 for 10 s, 1,880 for 15 s |
| Director's Cut | 3,360 for 3 s, 5,600 for 5 s, 11,200 for 10 s, 16,800 for 15 s |
Sound is included. If the job fails, your credits are refunded.
Tips
- Describe the subject, the action, the setting and the camera: "slow tracking shot", "aerial", "close-up".
- Start with Scene to test an idea cheaply, then use Feature or Director's Cut for the final clip.
- For image to video, describe motion only. The image already sets the look.
- Add an end frame to control where the shot finishes.
- Keep the seed to compare models on the same idea.
