Usage & Credits
Usage & Credits shows your credit balance and every charge and refund. Every generation is charged in credits before it runs, and refunded automatically if it fails.
Check your usage
- Open Usage & Credits in the sidebar, or click your credit balance at the top right.
- At the top you see:
- Balance: credits you have now.
- Used (last 100 entries): credits spent in the entries listed below.
- Plan: your workspace plan.
- Below is a list of entries, newest first. Each shows:
- the type: Free credits, Plan credits, Credit purchase, Usage, Refund or Adjustment
- a note, for example "Speech, 1,234 characters" or the name of what was made
- when it happened
- the amount: + for credits added, − for credits used
How charging works
- Before a job runs, its credits are taken. If you don't have enough, the job doesn't start, and you see "This needs N credits". Pages show Not enough credits next to the button first.
- If a job fails, its credits are refunded automatically. It shows as a Refund entry.
- Some jobs reserve an estimate, then settle when they finish:
- A transcript is charged for the file's length; if the heard speech runs longer, the difference is charged.
- A Standard song, an automatic-length sound effect or a talking avatar is charged for what was made. Any unused part of the reserve is refunded.
- Images held back by the safety filter, and sound effect takes that couldn't be made, aren't charged.
- Jobs that run too long are stopped after 3 hours and refunded.
Free credits
Every new account gets 10,000 free credits once, at sign-up. No card is needed. Free credits are for personal, non-commercial use.
Buying credits
Buying credits isn't available yet. Paid plans and credit top-ups are coming soon:

- The list shows the last 100 entries.
Tips
- Check the cost shown next to each button before you start.
- Use cheaper options to draft (Cinara Speech, Scene, Standard), then switch for the final version.
- Look for Refund entries after a failed job to confirm you were refunded.
