Music
Music makes full songs with vocals, or instrumentals for any mood: a theme for a film, a bed for a reel, a jingle for an ad. Standard is the most affordable; Studio follows your sections to the second.
Open Music in the sidebar. The page has two tabs, Explore and History, and the composer at the bottom, where you make everything.
Explore
Explore is a shelf of tracks made in Cinara: instrumentals across genres, and songs with vocals (marked Vocals).
- Choose a cover to play it, and again to pause. One track plays at a time.
- While a track plays, a slim player sits just above the composer with its waveform. Choose a point on the waveform to jump there, or × to close the player.
- Narrow the shelf with the genre chips, or search by title, genre or mood.
- Choose Use on a track (or Use this in the player) to start from it. Its description goes into the composer; for a song, its lyrics come too. Change anything before you make it.
Every track in Explore was made in Cinara.
History
Everything this workspace has made in Music, newest first. Choose one to open it.
Make a song
- In the composer, choose Song.
- Describe the song: genre, instruments, vocals, mood, and what it's about.
- Add lyrics, or leave them to Cinara (see Lyrics).
- Check the settings on the composer's bottom row (see Settings).
- Choose the arrow button, or press ⌘ Enter (Ctrl Enter on Windows).
The button next to it shows what it costs. A song has two steps, Composing then Checking the lyrics. Standard songs take about two minutes; Studio usually takes under a minute. The result opens on the page, and you can leave and come back.
Make an instrumental
- Choose Instrumental.
- Describe the music, for example "warm acoustic guitar and soft piano for a coffee ad, 85 bpm".
- Pick the Length, and choose the arrow button.
Standard instrumentals are usually ready in seconds.
Lyrics
With Song chosen, the composer shows Add lyrics, or Lyrics · N sections once there are some. Choose it to open the lyrics drawer. × next to it clears them.
No lyrics? Make the song anyway: Cinara first writes original lyrics from your description, in the Lyrics language you picked, then makes the song. That adds from 100 credits, shown in the price, and the lyrics and a title land in the composer so you can edit them and make it again.
In the drawer:
- Write lyrics with AI: type what the song is about, choose the language, and choose Write · from 100 credits. Long songs can cost a little more, since lyrics are charged by how much is written. You get original lyrics in sections; they replace what's there, and fill in the title and description if those are empty. On Standard, the length is set to fit them.
- Text: type the lyrics. Put section names like
[Verse 1],[Chorus]or[Bridge]on their own lines. - Sections: one box per section. Rename it, type its lines, move it with the arrows, remove it with ×, or choose Add a section. On Studio, also set each section's length in seconds and its own styles, for example "full band, bigger drums".
Choose Done, or anywhere outside the drawer, to close it.
Languages for AI lyrics: English, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Indonesian, Telugu and Tamil.

On a Standard song, a note under the composer warns when the length doesn't suit the lyrics: too short and the song may end before every line is sung; much too long and the singer fills the gaps with "ooh" and "la". Choose Fit to lyrics to fix it.

The result
- Play and Download the track, or choose Edit to open it in the Editor.
- Lyrics heard shows how much of your lyrics were heard in the finished song. Each line is marked Sung, Partly or Missed. Singers stretch and repeat words, so a few misses are normal.
- Sing in my voice opens Singing Voice with this song picked.
- Edit loads the settings back into the composer.
- Generate again makes a new version with the same settings.
- Back to Music returns to Explore and History.
Limits
- At least 10 seconds long.
- Standard songs up to 5 minutes; Standard instrumentals up to 2 minutes; Studio up to 10 minutes.
- Description up to 1,000 characters. Title up to 80 characters.
- Lyrics up to 3,500 characters, and each line up to 200 characters.
- Up to 30 sections. On Studio, each section lasts 3 to 120 seconds.
- Writing lyrics needs a description or song idea of 5 to 600 characters.
- Don't name well-known artists. You'll see "Describe the sound instead of naming a well-known artist." or "Cinara writes original songs. Describe the idea without naming a well-known artist."

- For a Standard song, the price shown is the most it can cost. The full length is reserved, and the unused part comes back if the song is shorter.
- If a job fails, your credits are refunded.
Tips
- Name the genre, the lead vocal, two or three instruments and a tempo.
- Label sections clearly. Choruses repeat best when their lyrics repeat.
- On Standard, use Fit to lyrics so every line gets sung.
- Use Studio when the song must hit exact timings, for example to match a video.
- Check Lyrics heard and make it again if important lines were missed.
